2021 Hess Allomi Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

This comes from Pope Valley and is a solidly made wine, aged 18 months in about one-fourth American oak. Dense purple, with notes of black cherry and blackcurrant fruit with some licorice and soil undertones, some oak is also present in this full-bodied, slightly rustic, but chewy, fleshy wine to drink over the next 7-8 years.
