2019 Braai Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

Brilliant marketing that isn’t too cheeky, this plays a South African slant with a wine specifically made for outdoor grilling and barbequing. Notes of dark berry fruit have some smoky earthiness on the nose. Medium fuller bodied, there’s a smoky element to the cassis fruit flavors that are backed with some firm but nicely integrated tannins, which will play perfectly against anything that has been grilled and has some fat content. This definitely screams out for something that has the smoky notes one gets from outdoor grilling making it a perfect wine for a Braai.
