Wine Makers Notes: Cannubi is a byword for Barolo: the Langa's most ancient bottle, still preserved today, carries the wording "Cannubi-1752". Cannubi's greatness is to be found in the very special composition of its soil: it is a question of the only zone, within the entire Barolo production area, in which soils of Tortonian and Helvatian origin, belonging to different geological eras, intersect.

Tasting Notes: intense and noble bouquet with pleasing notes of blackberry, liquorice, cinnamon and mint. On the palate it is ample and alluring, silky, with very fine tannins. The aftertaste is long, with hints of toasted hazelnuts. - Winery Notes

Food Pairing: Red meat dishes, game, ripe cheese.
