A new whiskey from an established brand builder, Witches’ Tree Kentucky Straight Rye invokes the spirit of an Old Louisville landmark to celebrate the rebirth of rye in American cocktailing. Witches’ tree was calibrated through a meticulous blind-tasting process to work magic in the mixing glass and tin with a pitch-perfect mash bill and proof.

• On the nose, early intrigue of walnut skin evolves reassuringly into a generous bowl of citrus buttercream dotted with dried apricot, dates, and pears in syrup. A cedar note—plus a hint of torched cinnamon stick—reminds us we’re drinking whiskey; a broad stroke of oatmeal on the palate, with a charming peppermint bark finish, reminds us we’re drinking rye.
