The Raices Cabernet is a standout in 2020, delivering exceptional richness, fruit and structure without any oak at all.  Nicely robust aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry, dried herb and spice lead to a richly textured mouthful of fruit, spice and smoke flavors.  The tannins feel silky enough for solo sipping but stay firm enough to match up with a burger or steak with ease.  This is excellent value and a much better bottle of Cab than you'll find from California at the price point.
