Guillaume Camus’ 2012 Savigny villages is another very strong wine in the cellars this year, offering up a deep and excellent nose of red plums, red and black cherries, cocoa, a fine base of stony minerality, a bit of bonfire and a gentle framing of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and intensely flavored, with excellent purity, a sappy core, ripe tannins and a very long, fairly youthful and soil-driven finish. Fine juice. 2017-2035.  Rated 90 Points Gilman.
